Farrow Group of Companies incorporates:

  • Automation Instrumentation & Control (AIC)
  • Instrumentation Combustion Engineering (ICE) and
  • Allect Services (ALLECT).

Allect Services was established by Russell Farrow in 1982 to provide electrical contracting and maintenance support services to the industrial manufacturing market. The company grew very quickly due, in part, to the increasing demand for quality software engineers to provide support for control systems. The growing list of clients requiring PLC support prompted the establishment of a separate engineering division.

Hence AIC (originally standing for Allect Industrial Control) was formed in 1996 to provide design, supply, commission and support control systems. The name was subsequently changed to the current Automation Instrumentation and Control to better reflect the engineering in those areas.

In 1990, Russell Farrow took up an opportunity to buy over the troubled Westate Boiler company and subsequently changed the name to the current Instrumentation Combustion Engineering (ICE) offering design, supply and maintenance of gas fired equipment and combustion engineering.

Through the growing partnerships with major clients, the group now employs around 40 full-time employees ranging from electrical, mechanical and combustion engineers, instrument technicians and electricians, and boiler tradesmen. All the above companies operate from its office/workshop building in Canning Vale, Perth, Australia.

Russell Farrow, as the group Managing Director, is proud to acknowledge the group's continue success in the market place to strong customer commitment and focus by his employees as articulated in the Group Mission Statement :

Our Companies philosophy is to excel as a customer focussed organisation.
